#1HOUR1LAYER
(Hover Here)
It started off by me just wanting to try replicating a scene from 'The Hidden World' as I don't usually draw landscapes of such detail. Then I found out about the #1hour1layer challenge and felt I could incorporate that as well.

#1hour1layer just means drawing anything in an hour using only 1 layer digitally. Personally, this meant that I have fewer chances of overdoing the work and to focus on the overall picture rather than the details.

Why I chose this scene:

Aside it being a parallel scene of 'New Tail' from the first movie, the scattered lighting and details in this one scene alone stood out to me.

It was a good chance for me to attempt a landscape piece and take note of the lighting and composition.

Why I chose this picture:

This picture is taken by a college acquaintance, I was given permission to draw the image. The warm bright colours and shadows due to the overhead flower bush immediately caught my eye. The colour palette was really attractive and aesthetic as well.

Why I chose this picture:

The picture was taken in a hurry in a spur of a moment. My college friends and I were on a road trip. At this moment, we were beside a road full of cars and as she turned, the beautiful light display on her face was revealed. It as by luck I was able to capture the moment before the gloomy clouds covered the sun.

Why I chose this picture:

This picture was taken by @brody_mcqueen_ from Instagram. The different style of lighting really caught my eye as well as the concept of breathing out constellations.

Why I chose this picture:

I found this image on Pinterest and found it too adorable to not draw. It took less than an hour due to its simple shapes so I experimented around and made a short, sweet gif out of it.
